After earning his undergraduate degree at Miami University, he attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, followed by a General Practice Residency at Summa Health in Akron, OH, where he later served as both resident and preceptor. Dr. Heffernan’s commitment to excellence is evident through his advanced training in laser dentistry, orthodontics (American Academy of GP Orthodontics AGpO), and smile design (SpearDental Education). Actively involved in organizations such as the ADA, AGD, Ohio Dental Association, and Medina Dental Society, he brings a depth of clinical expertise and a warm, relational approach to dental care.
